Edify Design, LLC was founded in 2023 by Edward Ballard-Sholly after more than two decades in the architectural industry.
Edward began his career in 2000 as a high school intern for C. Jeff Stroud AIA Architect, Inc, a firm owned and operated by experienced architect, Jeff Stroud. After graduating high school, Edward officially joined the firm as a full-time draftsman.
In 2016, Edward became a partner in the firm and continued working with Jeff in helping bring their clients’ ideas to life. Jeff later retired in 2022, but continues to provide expertise and guidance as a consultant for Edify Design, LLC.
Our designs can be seen throughout the Midlands and other areas of South Carolina. We believe in upholding proper and historically accurate design, especially as it relates to the classical orders of ancient Greece and Rome. We have a strict procedure for ensuring accurate, detailed plans and prefer to see projects through from start to finish.
Edward is an active member of The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD).
